Delator paced thoughtfully around the den. The heat was giving her an acid glare, and she decided to go rest near the old oak tree at the center of the grassland.
"Do I really want to join a herd?" She dissagreed with herself. "They'd hate me! I never get near anyone, and I never do anything to help! maybe I could get myself to practice with that." She stole an icy stare to a curious squirrel perched on a branch over her, and it scurried away. "I need to watch the hypnotism too...what to do, what to do..."

The unforgiving heat of the summer didn’t truly bother him. His long ears twitched against a heavy head. He shook his coat to rid himself of biting flies but it was to no avail. He snorted to help relieve his frustration and continued to march along a dried up path. The soft breeze pushed his deep blue coat the soft red around his eyes made the silver of them sparkle. The dirt gave way to his hoofs as he continued to walk and the sound of a voice in the distance caught his attention. He took in a large breath of air to find the smell of the particular. It belonged to a female. Well. He hadn’t been anticipating meeting others for the time being but a little fun could spark his interest.
He picked up speed and allowed the wind to tickle his body. He enjoyed feeling the rush pulse through his body. His long legs were tactfully avoiding anything that would make his bulky body stay upright. He had a tendency to fall on various objects and it was quite embarrassing. He contemplated on what form he would make himself be known by, his current or Were. Well, if he was to turn it could be intriguing. He shook his head on the idea due to the fact that it would make her quite a bit larger then him. If she was to freak out and attempt to stomp him to death it wouldn’t be in his best interest to attempt to change. So he decided against it.
Soon she came into view. She seemed to be taking out her frustrations on an innocent bystander. He pitted the poor squirrel and shook his large head. The antlers were still covered in the soft velvety texture and they were becoming quite itchy. He hadn’t been grooming himself lately so he looked a little ratty. “Hello Darlen.” He said softly. His silver eyes were fixed on her. His build was much larger then her own. He was about 75 inches tall and weighed about 430 pounds. He stroked his hoof against the ground a few times to get a little more comfortable. He wasn’t in the mood to lay down currently so standing would do quite nicely.

Delator heard the loud stag approaching from far away. She ignored him and continued staring at the tree trunk with her icy gaze, trying to figure out what to do. When he spoke was when she turned around.
He was large, very large. Nothing else could really explain it. It would be unwise to pick a fight. She stood up and turned slowly to seem intimidating, though she was a good 30 inches shorter than him. She decided to try to get into his mind, to read some of his thoughts. he kept them firmly blocked. She sighed and turned away. "Who is this...Darlen you talk about?" Not that she cared, it would just be weird to still ignore him.

So ice was all she could show? Well this was interesting indeed. He wondered what it had been to make her so aloof with company. He shook his coat again and the smooth red tail flicked around his rump once more to assault the biting flies once more. The only thing he disliked about the summer months were the insects. He scowled at the failed attempt to reveal his pelt of the bites. He watched her carefully remover herself from the grasp of the earth and attempt to look him eye to eye. However, he needed to look down and possibly lower his neck to be level with her. The she asked him who this so called Darlen was. Did she not know any pet names? Hmm. Perhaps she had never had an affectionate partner of any kind?
He laughed at her ignorance and shook his head. Clearly he needed to explain himself and he wasn’t looking forwards to that. He took a deep breath and spoke, “You my dear are darlen. It’s a pet name if you will. Like love or honey. Only I chose to call you darlen instead of darling.” He said in a very slow manner. As if she was an infant in capable of understanding him in any other way. He moved around her to study her physique. She wasn’t unattractive he noted, but she was rather small. If he was to mount her he would fear for breaking a few vertebrae. He let the little lustful thought vanish just as soon as it had come. He was curious to know why she was here and not finding herself in the presence of a captain.

Oh great. Another one of the grumbling idiots trying to please her, yet ending up falling for a beutiful doe and ignoring her completly. She hated stags like that. She thought it would be good to give him some more of her talk. Maybe eventually she could hypnotize him, if she stayed rested well in the shade.
Del turned her head slowly and gave him her icy stare, and felt much satisfaction as she saw him give a small shudder. "My name is Delator." She said coldly. "Some call me del, but I don't think your small, doe crazy brain could handle it. I find your dumb pet names illogical. The only ones that will ever dall for you are the ones who can not see who you really are, behind that wall of muscle and pride. I can." She shifted position so the sun glinted off her blue and purple checks on her pelt so that the sun reflected off her and into hi eyes. She smiled with satisfaction.
"Why don't you tell me your name, so we can continue this conversation in a better manner."

Was the doe really that full of herself? To think he was attempting to court her? Ha! Funny little girl had no clue. He shook his large head and moved closer towards the female in a more intimidating stance. Well, she had given him her name with a few little insults as well. Mind manipulation was somewhat hard to achieve with a Were. Considering his mind was two natured and held both his deer and feline minds intertwined. “Doe crazy is anything but what I’d call my brain. Besides Darlen, your pathetic excuse for a seductive Pandora act isn't doing a damn thing to induce my libido. ” He said with a small laugh. He pushed his hoof deep into the soil under his right leg. Did she honestly think she was really all that and more? He had seen much prettier does in his life time and she was not the cream of the crop.
His mind was wandering around again. The constant desire for blood was poisoning his mind. Sometimes he really hated his desire for flesh. It was very inconvenient at times. He shook the lustful hunger away for the moment and mentally noted to go for a little run at a later date. His body pulled with the impulse to shift but he ignored it. His long ears twitched to the sound of chirping birds and he sighed. He wondered just how long it would be till the fall touched the earth.
” Since you seem so eager to exchange names. My title is Yarikh.” He said simply, nothing shorter or longer then that. He wasn’t too big into the whole nick name ordeal and frankly hadn’t gained a companion that saw him worthy enough for his own little pet name. ” You shouldn’t be so arrogant to think that me giving you a pet name means I want to breed with you.” he said blatantly. Well, it was the damn truth. How on earth did that make him doe crazy for being just a little flirtatious?

Loser. He thought she thought that he liked her. Doe she go around being nice to everyone, and than suddenly leave and go flex his muscles some more and grin at his reflection in the lake? maybe he wasn't doe crazy. Now he was certainly dubbed king of self-craze.
"Nice to meet you, Yarikh." She said. "Maybe if you weren't so self absored, you could see the way you really are." She turned and started stalking through the tall, dry grass.

There was quite a racket buzzing in the air, disturbing her peace. For awhile, she ignored the distant squabbles, too dogged by the summer heat to move. She stood with her hooves planted firmly into the soft mud where a puddle had once been, chewing a wad of spit and grass. Her head lifted, a patch of mud and roots still ranging from her expressionless mouth.
It was really becoming a bother. When the noise refused to stop, Svenya picked herself up from the mud, and went in search of the discord. Not surprising, it was a stag and a doe, more than likely having a lover's spat. It wasn't exactly the season for this nonsense, but they never really did not a reason to argue.
She caught the blunt of some of the insults; they were worth a chuckle. But then the prissy doe tried to brush them off as if they were nothing. It was rather amusing. "Bitch, please." She yelled out to the doe. "He just burned yer ass. And yer ass ain't that pretty neither. You really think he'd be inerested in that shit?"
With slow, graceless steps, Svenya moved closer towards the two bickering deer. "Ya talking like he's dun something wrong, where from I stand alls I see is a judgmental priss bitching at some poor dumbass fool. Ain't ya ever figured that's just how he talks where he comes from? Apparently not, nope. You were too busy thinking he was hittin' on ya. Ya think I'm hittin' on ya just cause I talk funny? Cause doe, I'd crush your skinny ass."

(Okay, I'll just pretend that that last part never happened. I'll make them more lengnthy now)
Del looked up, her eyes flaring at the...the...what WAS it? She looked up at the thing, trying to peirce through its shell and make it feel uncomfortable, but it still loomed over her with its melevolant grin still in place.
"What right do you have to do that?" Del tried to sound calm, which she was usually good at, but now her voice was shaking with the anticipation. "Maybe you are seeing wrong. Maybe you do not see a doe causing a giant stag harm," she paused, nodding to Yarikh to say that she meant no harm, and was just merely defending herself, "But maybe you saw two deer bickering over the best grass, or the best shady spot. I must ask, why do you choose to pick on me, over this stag? Because I am more easy to throw around in a fight?"
She did actually feel a little bad for Yarikh, but right now she was to busy fighting for her own life to worry about him. She stood, rooted firmly to the spot and glaring up at the thing.

The complete idiocy this starting to make his head hurt. He couldn’t quite comprehend what the hell was going on in that does head. Was she living in a freaking fantasy? He shook his head and couldn’t help but laugh at the outraged Moose that had come into the picture. She had obviously heard his insult and also found it quite amusing that the female had dismissed it so quickly with a rather pathetic come back of her own. He shook his head and contemplated on what to say.
He turned as the doe attempted to show pity for him? What the hell was wrong with this bitch? He hadn’t done anything to have any kind of pity showered on him. If anything he was guilty of being a touch flirty with a dumb ass. “Are you really that dense? To completely avoid the conversation completely and fathom some strange cruelty this moose has created.” He said in a baffled tone. He was completely confused as to how someone could completely ignore all the insults thrown her way. If she was even remotely intelligent she would simply come up with a better insult and enjoy a nice back and froth game. Instead she chose to ignore everyone’s insults completely and look crazy.

(I'm a little confused O.O)
Delator rolled her eyes at Yarikh and glared at him. He didn't seem to understand that deer dealed with anger in different ways. Apparently, for him, you had to come up with a better insult, and that made you cooler and automattically win the fight. Get real.
What was the smart thing to do was act as if you don't care, and throw the blame on another, if needed. So she did. And Yarikh responded by insulting her with being stupid. Look who's talking. She wasn't the one to start a fight, if he hadn't noticed. She was maybe, oh, twice his size, less for the moose, as he called it.
Delator was more than happy to let them throw insults at her all day. She didn't really care. It was always that way. The weak, weird one was singled out. Of course, the moose was weirder than her, but del didn't mind her speech or anything. just the fact that she justified herself by cussing in other's faces.
"If you two want to throw insults at me all day, go right ahead and waste your energy," Del sighed, looking uncaring, "You need to save the rest of it for looking at your reflection," She said, nodding to Yarikh.

She burst out in laughter, perfectly amused with this yuppy doe. Perhaps she was too self-concious and frightened to realize the hypocrisies within her own words; blinded by the image of two deer before her who spoke in an uncivilized manner. They were not cleanly washed, and spoke with vulgar tongue, and so she placed them sorely below her. Yet she spoke as if they were the judgmental ones; this doe was confused.
"You hear that shit? Now she's a poet. Sorry to soil yer scene, prancy ass. Think you needs a reality check." She dipped her massive head down, gulping up a patch of grass between her grey lips. Mundanely she chewed, not much concerned about any threat the two deer had to offer. "Git one thing straight, missy." Svenya spoke between gulps. "You can go on this stupid ass act all you want if it makes ya feel better. But if you continue that high and mighty bullshit, I'll knock yer face in."
The mud on her legs was starting to dry, forming cakes and cracks as it chipped away. Using her back hoof, she scratched some of the mud from her front leg that had become stiff and irritant. It was too hot for this nonsense, but it seemed insistent on continueing indefinitely.

Great. Now she was mad because Del was being 'high and prancy.' She decided it wasn't worth it to argue and better to just leave and see if they start bickering. Plus, she was getting hungry, and knew a good place to graze lush, green grass. And this tree's shade was getting warmer.
Del squinted up at the sun and saw that it was almost midday, so a good time to eat. She flicked her tail to brush away some flies, and started walking away. "There's a good spot for grass over here, if you want some. See you later."
Del didn't feel like being mean at the moment. She didn't have the energy. She just wanted to eat. The moose and Yarikh could do whatever they wished, but she was leaving that nonsense to do something sensible.

Once more, the doe was going to try and pass it off as if nothing had happened. She went about her merry grazing, and brushed them from her shoulder. Alright then; Svenya was not going to pursue the priss of a deer, she had no energy for it. Let her act as if nothing has transpired, if it made her feel any better.
Her nose dipped into the grasses, rising again with green matter hanging out of her lips. She chewed slowly and rhytmatically, wondering if either of the two thick-headed deer would move to speak. Perhaps Svenya's intimidating presence had interfered with their dispute and fearing her size, they would speak no more.
